Hbsag reactive and hbeag non reactive
Hello, My wife is in 4th month of pregnancy and during regular tests we found that her hbsag is reactive and hbeag is 0.37 and Anti-HBE is 0.01. Should this cause any issue to mom to be and to our child in future. We are bit worried. Please suggest.

She needs to get her hbv DNA levels done. And also the child will be requiring injection to prevent the transmission during child birth.
