Hi my father is having joint pain after chikungunya fever. It's almost 2months now he is taking pain killers but still having pain .kindly suggest what treatment can b taken

Hi. For some patients joint pain subsides soon after fever subsides but in some elderly patients joint pain continues for months . Its due to low immunity and damage caused due to inflammatory reaction. Pain killers helps in relieving from pain but not good at this age . Try homeopathy or ayurveda .
