Having high fever , shivering and cough
My son is having high fever 102 with shivering and cough...last 2-3 days fever aa raha tha but 99 tha ...but kal raat se usko cough n afternoon main fever aya ...please help...which antibiotics should give to him...augmentin or Amoxicillin

Better to take consultation before starting an antibiotic.
Next Steps
If the fever above 100°F is present since last 3 days with throat pain/enlarged tonsils, then the child will need antibiotics

Not necessary that antibiotics will stop fever.
Majority times it is viral.
