Hi, I have started working 5 years ago. My job involved working in shifts which initially led to an uneven sleep schedule. But I got it back to normal when I switched to a different company with no night shifts 2 yrs ago. But recently, I have sleep disorders again.. some days I sleep for 9 hours straight and still feel sleepy, sometimes i sleep for 2 hours and be awake the whole day. I also feel anxiety/panic creep in when I lie down to go to sleep. My breathing gets faster and I am unable to regulate it for hours when I lie down no matter what I try. I try to distract myself by watching a tv show or something. Recently I am also noticing differences in my eating pattern. Earlier I used to maintain intermittent fasting with just lunch at 12 pm and dinner at 8( from 2 yrs) Just some snacks in between.nothing from the outside. But recently I am going back and forth on over eating and undereating. I don't have an idea which doctor to consult for this.to add i have frequent migraines too.
