My baby is 4 months old. He is having fever of 101.4 since yesterday and occasional coughing since 3-4 days. Doctor has prescribed moxclav, wyloril and mucolite.
Is it ok to give this many medicine to baby? Is it really required?? Please guide.

Usually viral fever will present like this. So please wait before starting antibiotics. Give only dolo drops for fever.
It should be given at 15mg/kg
Keep watching for difficulty breathing, reduced activity, reduced feeding, altered behaviour
If any of these occur please take to hospital immediately

I would suggest you to wait for atleast 2days of fever before starting antibiotics, most fever in children tend to be viral induced, and there is minimal role of antibiotics.
