Hashimoto thyroid
Is this very serious problem? I went to ent specialist because of my neck right side paining. No swelling. When I touch also paining and if I press my neck I feel very heavy.. Doctor said looks Hashimoto thyroid. Need to take fnac.
What is the reason? Why to take fnac? What we can know from that result? Please reply

Hashimotos thyroiditis is an auto immune disease... body's own immune system turns up against thyroid tissue.
Fnac is for diagnosis that is it hashimotos or not so that treatment can be done accordingly.
