There are many causes of ptosis like neurological cause or myogenic cause etc.
Treatment depends on type of ptosis and severity of ptosis

Good morning, if the diagnosis has been made as Ptosis, surgery is the only option. The vision in that eye has not been mentioned. So mainly it will be for cosmetic reasons I presume. Please consult a specialist Oculoplastic surgeon regarding this.
If the lid droop is obstructing vision, it is a must indication for surgery. If the condition is since birth or before 3 months of age, vision loss might have occurred already, but will still need cosmetic surgery. Do not delay, I advice immediate treatment, after a thorough evaluation.
