Has cough and was prescribed Azithromyci
I have diabetes with hypertension and on medication amlodipine 5 mg, telma h  hs Tenegliptin 20 mg bd Metformin 1000 mg bd Glimipride 1 mg od And had complaint of cough and was prescribed Azithromycin. Is it safe to take with my other medicines.

Azithromycin is widely used antibiotic and mostly have less side effects. It has some effect on heart electrical circuit although not very common. It should not be taken unless it is required very much. Should be used with caution
