I have severe acne. Doctor suspected to be harmonal acne. I am planning for pregnancy. Could treatment cause. Birth defects. How to treat it?

Yes oral medicines like minocyclines or retinoids given for acne are not to be taken during pregnancy. During pregnancy there will hormonal changes which often make the skin better. You can also apply clindac gel for your acne during pregnancy
