Hard coughing with little cough
She has hard coughing throughout the day with little cough coming out in green and white colour. She has taken antibiotics and steroids but no relief. This is continuing from last 15 days. X-ray culture and AFB test have been done but all are positive. Please suggest.

She seems to be suffering from post viral cough which is common type of dry cough syndrome after an attack of viral upper respiratory tract infection. Usually it will resolve on its own within few days. You can use dry cough syrups, strepsils like lozenges and steam inhalation for faster recovery
