Hand foot mouth disease

Asked for Male, 33 Years

My son suffering from hand foot mouth disease since 2 days now we consulted pediatrics twice thats ok that this virus takes its course but does that mean child to be ignored which has bad itching in palms and foot sole which is bad that child 5 yr old 17 kg cannot even sleep since 2 days. Lactocalamine hasnt worked pls advice some strong ointment which can heal his itching worst itching...and he can sleep at least. Please

Try syp atarax 5 ml twice a day for itching,keep applying lactocalamine,if oral ulcers are present,apply orasep lotion just before meals. It's a self healing disease,will subside in 5-7 days.
