Hairfall issue
Hello Dr, i am facing huge hairfall, one of my doctor recommended me imxia 5% solution which has minoxidil and finasteride content, but everywhere it is mentioned that for women its only 2% approved, and also women shouldn't use finasteride so please suggest me Should I switch from 5% to 2% and also should i continue using finasteride with minoxidil.

In female androgen receptors are more sensitive to minoxidil, so in females 2% mx is sufficient to inactivate these receptors. It’s opposite in males where higher % needed to treat hormonal Alopecia. So 2% is sufficient in females. No additional benefits seen with higher percentage
