I initially had severe dandruff, and while discussing it with ChatGPT, I noticed that my crown area had more visible scalp. I shared photos, and 2% ketoconazole shampoo was suggested. I used it for around 1–2 months, and my dandruff is now completely controlled.
Currently, my main concern is low hair density/volume around the crown and the mid-scalp area just in front of the crown. My front, sides, and back have comparatively good density. My hair is naturally fine/thin with low volume, and there is a family history of thin hair.
Current routine:
* Sebamed Everyday Shampoo – regular shampoo
* 2% Ketoconazole shampoo – previously used for dandruff
* L’Oréal Extraordinary Oil Serum – for dryness/frizz
* Hair oil – stopped around 4–5 months ago
I would like to know whether the crown/mid-scalp appearance is normal crown/whorl or actual hair thinning/miniaturization, and whether I need any treatment.
