I have started experiencing hair loss post covid almost 2 months after recovery. I have consulted a local derma and he has suggested me Menoxidil and few tablets. But I feel after applying the Minoxidil, hair fall was increased and I lost almost 60% hair within 3 weeks of time. I don't know if this is normal. Looking for suggestion.

Minoxidil can also cause your hair to shed, especially when you first start using it. As minoxidil speeds up the resting phase of your hair, sometimes it falls out more quickly than it normally would. However, minoxidil also extends the growth phase of your hair. The condition u r suffering from is called Telogen Effluvium. Its a slow and progressive condition but with the medication u r taking it will stabilise with time.
