Hair loss and hair thinning
Hello, I have recently visited a dermatologist regarding hair loss. The dermatologist had prescripted "Anaboom Anti hair fall serum" and "Minoxidil Topical solution USP 2% Mintop" and asked me to apply the former solution in the morning and latter at night everyday maximum of 1 ml each. I would like to know whether it is recommended to apply both solutions or not? Looking forward for your response.

First of all we need to know whether your hair fall is normal or above normal.Average daily normal hairfall is 100-150 and anything above that needs attention. Then we need toxins the exact cause of of abnormal hairfall which could be thyroid, vitamin deficiencies, etc etc for which we have do few blood tests. Also some cosmetic procedures like straightening, rebonding, perming can damage your hair which breaks easily. Once we know the root cause usually it takes around 2 months to control hairfall and another 2-3 months to recover density.
Next Steps
Get proper assessment done by qualified dermatologist for exact cause of your hairfall. Minoxidil dose is 1ml twice daily and it is the only medicine that is known to work for hairfall.
