Hair fall with itching and dandruff is quite common, and it usually improves with a mix of scalp care + good diet + lifestyle.
Next Steps
1. For scalp and dandruff: Wash your hair 2–3 times a week with a mild anti-dandruff shampoo (like ketoconazole or zinc pyrithione). Avoid scratching the scalp, as it can cause more hair fall. Keep your scalp clean and avoid too much oiling — light oil once a week is fine. 2. Diet for strong hair: Eat more protein-rich foods: eggs, fish, chicken, pulses, beans, soy, paneer. Add green vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds (almonds, walnuts, flaxseed) for vitamins and minerals. Iron & zinc: spinach, jaggery, dates, pumpkin seeds. Biotin & omega-3: eggs, walnuts, chia/flax seeds, fish. Drink enough water every day. 3. Lifestyle tips: Reduce stress and get good sleep (6–8 hrs). Avoid smoking and excess junk food. Do regular exercise — it improves blood flow to the scalp.
Health Tips
When to see a doctor: If itching/dandruff is severe or persistent. If hair fall is rapid, patchy, or you notice bald spots

Hair fall with scalp itching and dandruff at your age is commonly due to seborrheic dermatitis or early male pattern hair loss, sometimes both co-exist.
Next Steps
Management: 1)Use a medicated anti-dandruff shampoo (containing ketoconazole 2% or zinc pyrithione) 2–3 times a week. Leave for 5 minutes before rinsing. 2)For persistent itching, a short course of an anti-fungal lotion or mild topical steroid lotion may be prescribed after in-clinic evaluation. For hair strengthening: 1)Maintain a protein-rich diet (eggs, pulses, nuts, dairy, green leafy vegetables). 2)Oral supplements containing biotin, vitamin D, and omega-3 may help. 3)Gentle scalp massage with light oils (coconut/argan) 1–2 times/week improves circulation.
Health Tips
Word of Caution: 1)Avoid frequent hair styling gels/heat. 2)Do not scratch the scalp as it worsens dandruff and hair fall. 3)Do not self-start minoxidil or steroids without medical supervision. It would be helpful if you could share a clear photo of your scalp for a better assess
