Haemoglobin deficiency
Recently my daughter got affected with typhoid fever and the blood test report also shows haemoglobin is on lower side, I bought toneferon syrup please suggest the dosage for 2yr old, weight 10.5 kgs. Also I would like to give bandy plus syrup to her please advice the dosage for it. Attached photos for blood report and syrup. Please advice. Thanks.

you can give tonoferon pediatric syrup- 2 ml once daily- continue for 3 months. you can repeat Hb after 1 month  to look for improvement. Give iron rich food items like green leafy vegetables, dates, jaggery added foods, meat and fish. give citrous fruits like orange, apple etc- it will increase iron absorption from gut. bandy plus 10 ml at bedtime single dose can be given for deworming.
