Had a mole removal but left a crater

I had a mole removal last 3 days. It was removed using blade I dont know but it was blade. And stopped the bleeding using heat. Then after the procedure I got my mole removed. Now I had this little crater. What I am doing is cleaning the area with soap and water. After that I will put an ointment that my doctor told me. And then putting a bandage on it. What I am concern is. Is this crater will be filled soon with my healing process and technique?

Healing takes time. At least you have to wait for 3 weeks to see wether crater will get filled or not. Why are you putting bandage after applying ointment. What is name of the ointment.
