Hormonal profile: Testosterone, LH, FSH, estradiol, prolactin.
Liver, kidney, thyroid function tests.
Ultrasound breast: To distinguish fat vs glandular tissue.
Non-Surgical Options (Limited but Worth Considering):
1. Targeted resistance training (e.g., incline bench press, push-ups):
Can help tone the chest area but won't eliminate glandular tissue.
2. Medications (only for true gynecomastia and in early stages):
Tamoxifen (SERM): Off-label, may reduce glandular tissue.
Used in select cases and under endocrinologist supervision.
3. Compression garments:
Cosmetic solution to flatten the appearance.
Surgical Option: Definitive Treatment
If it's true gynecomastia
Have to differentiate between true and false gynaecomastia.
