Gummy smile
I have a gummy smile. Not severe though.can it be treated with braces? I don't want to go through surgery.

Hello... You have to undergo check up first to decide for the cause of gummy smile. Although to some extent it can treated with Orthodontic treatment ( braces) but there are a few cases which require surgery as well. As u are saying, it’s not very severe, it might correct through braces.

It can be treated with braces if u visit a MDS orthodontist who are trained to handle it properly. Remember that your orthodontist is IOS endorsed.

Consult a good periodontist. It may require combined orthodontic treatment along with gum treatment for good aesthetic results

It can't treated with braces.This can be corrected by surgery only.If that's not severe you can leave it.
