Hello. I am so sorry for your loss. I can imagine how difficult it must be for you now, losing somebody we love is not easy, especially as you said he was your best friend as well. I understand that you wanted to be with him and spend more time with him as well. However due to the current situation you were not able to, I understand that is hard for you to accept. Allow yourself to go through what you are feeling right now, grief is not an easy process. However all your feelings and emotions are valid at this point, do not deny them, allow them to flow.
Next Steps
It is important that you do not suppress what you are feeling right now nor you keep them to yourself. Talk to someone you feel comfortable with and trust. Do talk about your father to them, all the memories that you want to. It can be difficult to do so, however allow them to be heard. This will help you to deal with what you are going through better.
Health Tips
There is no right way to deal with grief. All your emotions and feelings are valid. Do try writing your feelings and memories in a journal if you can, the idea is never to suppress your emotions but to let them flow. Please do reach out if you would like to talk. Take care.

Im sorry! Really What i can advise you on is: Spend time reminiscing. Reflect especially on the times you spent alone with your dad. Remember that those memories are special because they are only between the two of you. If you have painful or difficult memories of your dad, try not to feel guilty. It is normal for some people to feel angry during grief. Please reach out and talk your heart out Consult with me or any psychologist for therapy and counseling Grief takes time. Let it take its own time All the best

It is sad to hear your personal loss.. The loss of him can never to replaced by anyone in this world for you.. Griefing period differs from  Person to person.. Take your time.. Better ways are:- 1. Recall some good memories about him. 2. Follow all those things, which he wanted you to and achieve your success by his personal suggestions which you both had shared.. 3. If possible, spend some quality time with your mother, who needs the emotional support more than anyone.. I am sorry for your loss. It is very heart wrenching to not be able to be with a loved one during their last days. However, dealing with grief need not be an excruciating experience because it is something that, as human beings, we all need to understand and go through. You will pass through all the stages of grief and what can help you is someone to handhold you as you go through it. If you have someone close that you can share this with, it would be good. Otherwise, please take the help of a psychologist who specialises in grief counselling and have sessions with them to talk about it.
Next Steps
Think of all the times you have spent with our father that leaves you positive and good and happy memories. They will always be with you. Do not let go of all the good things his life has taught and given you. Identify a person to share this phase with or talk to a psychologist to help you through this.
Health Tips
Please do not think that you could not be with him towards the end. He must have surely had you with him, in his mind and thoughts even though you were not physically there. That would be the first step towards dealing with this. Express your feelings through writing or any activity that lets you give form to your relationship with him.

It's ok to worry about him.. Don't feel guilty.. During his presence,  you have not mentioned that you take care of him.. Very well?? If not, that's ok.. Learn from your mistakes and move on..
Next Steps
you live by the standards set by your father and make him proud.. call me if you still have problems..
Health Tips
soul never dies.. only body perishes.. keep it in mind and do all the last rituals now and often every year, for your own satisfaction.. good luck..
