Grey ring around Corneas!
Hi I'm 26 yrs old / F who using contact lenses last 5 yrs. Since day before yday I notice some grey ring around my corneas & I have eye irritation & redness too! Wen I googled I found it as Arcus! Which is very new term for me. Im going to visit Dr this weekend. Before that pls help me is it something to worry? Pls!

Hello Arcus is just a form of corneal degeneration Very common in old age If found in young.... We usually recommend getting lipid profile checked Having said that, it has no bad effect on eye sight

Arcus is a degenerative changes which usually happens in old age. Do visit an Ophthalmologist to seek opinion.

In old age v find it very often n its degenerative process... as u r just 26yrs just as precautionary get your lipid profile done.. some times it can happen in hyperlipidaemia in young individuals.
