Contact lens - pregnancy
Hi doctor I'm 3months pregnant. I have sight of -5 both eyes. I use contact lens. I put it in the morning n remove at night. As I'm pregnant, can I continue using lens or shall I use spectacles. Will usage of contact lens affect baby. Thanks in advance.

Hi.. You can use contact lenses..no problem.. For some people ..wearing contact lenses gives a lot of discomfort due to hormonal changes .. So .If you hv no issues ..go on

Contact lens is wore on the outermost layer of the eye ( Cornea) so it has no ill effects on the baby. You can continue wearing them.
