Hello there, It seems you know that you have thyroid eye disease. In early stages it is reversible but when it becomes long standing the changes that occur maybe irreversible. The treatment for such diseases is slow and takes time. You shall need thyroid correction therapy asking with some form of steroids to control inflammation that occurs inn active diseases. In late stages surgery maybe required to reduce the damages caused by permanent changes. Changes in size of eye can be due to various reasons, right from eyelid drooping to other eye lid retraction and at times exophthalmos, which is simply outward protrusion of eyeball. Treatment for each is very different.
Next Steps
Firstly, recheck with your last ophthalmologist as to what all can be done. If he/ she suggests done treatment, carry it on. If they can suggest some other ophthalmologist then discuss with them.

Please consult an Ophthalmic plastic surgeon (also called Oculoplasty surgeon) for detailed evaluation and management.
