Grandfather suffering from dementia
My grandfather is currently on dementia medicines. He has lost his appetite, eats very less, often feels nauseous and pukes. He usually doesn't speak much, stays inside. Is this just side effects of medicines? Can dementia also cause depression in a person?

There are a few possibilities, like the disease acting up itself, or an infection related to the GI tract. Dementia medicines are unlikely to cause such symptoms, however it is possible that the medicine has a side effect of nausea.
