Grade 2 prostatomegaly with median lobe
My father has been diagnosed with Grade 2 prostatomegaly. His prostate size is 53cc. The prostate is enlarged in size with median lobe indenting on the bladder base. He has a small cystic area with in the median lobe. He had slight pain while passing urine and flow is very low. Average flow was 3ml/s which was considered low by doctors. Doctors have suggested that because of median lobe medication won't be effective. They are suggesting a laparoscopic surgery as the only option. Is there an option other than surgery ? I have attached uroflow and sonogram reports
