GRADE 1 DIASTOLIC DYSFUNCTION
Grade 1 Diastolic Dysfunction shown in my wife's Echocardiogram report. She is 36 weeks pregnant & done her echocardiogram test before her cesarean section delivery sheduled in next week. PLEASE suggest me is she need any treatment for that.

No treatment. If she is obese after the delivery she should control weight gain If she has hypertension she should take care of that. Otherwise Grade 1 Dysfunction is not to be treated

Diastolic dysfunction after the age of 35 is common. For that no treatment is necessary. If risk factor like hypertension is there, then it should be treated. Otherwise nothing to do.
