Dr I am 32 years.my echo scan is showing grade 1 diastalic dysfunction. I need to no wat is grade 1 dd and why it is cause wat is reason and is it serious and will it cause heart attack are heart disease in future. My bp is 135/84 pulse 93 plz let me is there any serious I am worried Dr and getting anxious about this i have attached my echo report

Diastolic dysfunction means relaxation properties of hearts muscle. Diastolic dysfunction is a very common finding and can be because of multiple reasons like BP, heart disease, valvular disease etc. It is a very common finding and does not indicate disease. No active treatment for this condition is required. Just regular healthy lifestyle, dietary modification, low salt diet, yoga meditation. BP monitoring and if required necessary medication to be start.
