Got Vocal Polup removed through Laser

Asked for Male, 32 Years

Hi I got operated for vocal polyp removal through laser suregry on 3rd Nov. I took a complete voice rest for 10 days and partial for 5-7 days. I started working from 21 Nov and lately my job has involved too much talking and the throat feels irritated after every conversation. 1) Should I do back to silent mode again.? 2) Is it normal ?

Main cause for occurrence of vocal polyp is voice misuse. Usually absolute voice rest is impractical and not really required for more than few days after surgery. You need to consult a voice therapist to learn to avoid vocal straining and voice relaxation so that recurrence of polyp do not occur
