Glaucoma is progressive optic neuropathy.
Optic nerve damage never reverses at this age.
Though treatment can halt or slow down the progression of glaucoma.
Tests needed for glaucoma
A. Visual field
B. IOP
C. Pachymetry
D. OCT ( RNFL and ganglion cell thickness)
E. Gonioscopy
F. Optic nerve evaluation
G. Comprehensive examination of anterior and posterior segment of eye
