Hello there.
I can understand your concern. If you are considering C3-R procedure as a cure for keratoconus, then its not a cure, it's rather a process which strengthens the collagen inside upto 300 percent.
The procedure aims to delay and stop further deterioration of the condition.
In the procedure, riboflavin impregnated eye is treated to UVA Light.
For 30 minutes riboflavin eye drops are kept and then for 30 minutes the light.
Only one eye is done in one sitting.
It usually doesn't require any further follow up sittings .
It has no side effects as such because it's a non invasive procedure.
