Open angle glaucoma is when water produced inside eyed is able to reach angle as it's opened. However path there after is not smooth so pressures build up inside the eyes and causes open angle glaucoma. It's not curable but controllable to some extent by drops. You have to use life long usually. Your glaucoma specialist doctor can add another drug or advice lasers or surgery. No treatments including laser surgery is permanent solution. It all depends on many factors. Keep in touch with your experts. Usually lasers surgery is an add to your eye drops. Don't stop them unless specifically indicated by experts. Every allopathic medicine has side effects so anti glaucoma drugs too. Keep in touch with your glaucoma specialist for life long. Follow him regularly on time.
