GIC filling
I've got 6 filling on my molar biting surface. all are GIC filling . The dentist cost me 500 per each fillings. I'm worried how long will it going to stay in my teeth. My tongue always worried of loosing fillings its been a month but I'm still worried. I know there are different quality of GIC which varies as per cost. But as they've cost me 500 what would be the life of my GIC fillings . Pls help.

GIC filling (though of many quality/ types) are permanent restorations. It is supposed to serve you for good. And please understand that filling coming off from an area depends upon many other factors also. So don't  worry and use your filled teeth normally . But go for regular check ups every six months.

It will stay for long .. first stop worrying on small things. N stay calm.. my own gic filling as come upto 15 years.. it depends on d place Position Placed
