Getting knee pains when I sit long
Hi I am Krishna Reddy, I am 29 years old. I am getting knee pains, when I do following actions 1. when I sit more than 30 minutes in a chair, 2. even when I stand also for long time, 3. When I am resting after long walk or running not during walk or running While folding the leg, getting cracking sound. Thanks in advance Best regards, Krishna

- Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. - Keep a pillow under the knee. - Avoid painful acts & activities. - Fomentation with warm water. -Let the part not be exposed cold. -Do mild exercises for the affected part.- back and lower limbs. -Any way it may be tried, --. Ugesic (Piroxicam) 20mg 1tab od x 5days --. Caldikind plus  (Mankind) 1tab OD x 10 days. Kindly make sure, there is no allergy to any of these medicines. --For emergency treatment visit nearest hospital. This treatment has been  suggested on bases of the information provided. Hi Mr Reddy The complains you described seems to be CHONDROMALACIA PATELLAE softening of the smooth cartilage between your thigh bone and patellae
Next Steps
Avoid squatting Sitting crossed leg Take a painkiller for now Start Vitamin D 60k unit once a week ( Lumia 60k ) for 8 weeks Start quadriceps and hamstring strengthening excercises ( cycling is the best ) or google them
