Gestational diabetes
I am in 34th week of pregnancy. In 28th week my Glucose tolerance test level was 141. After that i have been monitoring my diet and keeping my sugar levels below 120 . My fetus size is also ahead of its time . At week 34 it's at 37 week gestation. And my doctor suspects it's because of the spiked sugar level. But from last one month i am keeping my sugar level below 120. But still the fetus size is coming ahead of the time. Now after ultrasound bcz of increased fetus weight i.e 2.8kg at 33 weeks doctor has suggested me to take Glyciphage twice a day. But if my sugar is in control why I am needed to take it. Please suggest.
