Gestational diabetes

Asked for Female, 25 Years

Hello dr. i have gestational diabetes in my 7th month of pregnancy ... but i had never before it.(GCT value- 176) and i have also high sgot and sgpt.(SGOT-49 SGPG-57)... I am scared now ...does they both will go after delivery ? or does it harm my baby?? please ans me asap..

GDM is temparory and it usually disappears once baby is out. You need to make a sugar chart for all your premeal and one hour post meal values. Complications in baby can be minimised by maintaining a tight control of sugar levels.
