Gestational diabetes
Before pregnancy, my Hba1c was 6.4.                At 23weeks in 75mg glucose test, my 10hr fasting  glucose was 114 mg/dl and 1 hour post glucose + some lite snacks was 254 mg/dl I took no Medicines but was aware of my sugar levels. At 32weeks again in 75mg glucose test, my 12 hr fasting glucose was 139 mg/dl and 2 hour post glucose + lunch (21/2 chappati & bhaji) was 216 mg/dl (Kindly note: i was advised to take breakfast and then 1/2 hour later 75mg glucose and then go for test 2 hours later, i hv done the same, but took lunch instead of breakfast) Seeing test result i was referred to another doc.      He gave me options between insulin and tablets. I choosed tablet He prescribed me with Megavog 0.2/500mg. Before starting my tablets course i did fasting and 2 hrs  post lunch again, becoz i read apples lower blood sugar levels. At 33 weeks my fasting was 127 mg/dl And 2 hour post lunch was 166 mg/dl. Should i be taking diabetes medicines. Is Megavog right choice for me??
