Gestational diabetes

Asked for Female, 28 Years

At 5th week during blood test I was recognised with diabetes with 166 sugar level. I have been taking glycomet sr 500 mg twice a day. Now I'm in my 10th week, I Randomly checked my sugar level at home and it's 88. Am I diabetic or level is low due to medicines?

You are taking proper treatment but as a pregnancy advances the Diabetes becomes worse. So you have to consult with your Gynaecologist periodically. Also get your HbA1c done.
