Geographical Tongue Treatment

Hi my Name is Anand my age 33years iam suffering from paches on the top or side of tongue duration since 6years to still going this happened now monthly twice and i visited ENT doctor...he said Geographical Tongue What is the reason? Please suggest Treatment also
