Genu valgum surgery
I had osteotomy of left knee on 15th of January. It was a osteotomy of distal femur.doctor fixed my bones with 3 orthopaedic small wires. Today I noticed some red and transparent spot on my dressing. Is it something to worry about it? Please tell me. I have attached the photo of the spot also

Hello You should get it checked by your operating surgeon. May be the routine oozing from the wound as occurs after the surgery.

You should consult your doctor and get a check dressing done. This can happen due to blood oozing out from the surgical site. It is normal to have some oozing but if it is continuous, need to rule out the possibility of hematoma/serous collection at the surgical site.
