While playing on road with crackers , the matchbox fallen on roadside grass where sometimes dogs also play and eat the food items thrown by people. One person picked up the Match box towards me which touched to my mouth. Does this incident is a risk for Rabies infection or just my doubt? I have OCD and using medicine Depran L once daily.

Hi
This is just your OCD doubt, not a real rabies risk.
Rabies spreads only through direct contact with the saliva or bite of an infected animal, not through objects like a matchbox or ground contact. Even if dogs had been around that area, the virus cannot survive long outside a living host it dies quickly in air and sunlight.
Your mind, due to OCD, is magnifying a harmless event into a danger signal. This is a contamination obsession, and the urge to keep checking or seeking reassurance is part of the compulsion loop.
Take a deep breath, remind yourself:
This is my OCD talking, not reality.
Then, gently shift your focus to another task. Don’t give the thought power by analyzing it further.
Take therapy. You can connect with me on nine two six six seven two six zero six five.
