General Query for fever

Question

Asked for Male, 67 Years

Started fever from last Friday. Doctor advised blood test on Monday. Blood test: no dengue no malaria Platelet count : 1.7 lacs , TCDC was 12.3 Started having CEFTAS CV 200 (5 day course)from Monday. Doctor again advised blood test on Wednesday. Blood test : platelet: 2.63 lacs and TCDC : 10.1 Antibiotics still on. Feeling weak..no vomiting...no rashes...fever coming and going. Taking fluids like electral and coconut water. Hopefully the weakness is normal. Is it? Will the fever subside after my antibiotic course gets completed?
