General advice for sports
Hello, I am planning to learn kickboxing but I have knee pain especially in my right knee. Whenever I bend my knees for more than 5 mins and then try to straighten up. I feel a lot of pain in that area and am not able to straighten up my knee properly for about 2-3 mins. I also feel very dizzy when I stand up suddenly. The reason why I want to learn kickboxing is to get into some sport and also lose weight. Please guide me if I should get some tests done etc. Thank you

Hi, These are common when starting intense activity. Start gently with low impact exercises like walking or swimming first, and strengthen your legs gradually.  Feel free to consult for further guidance.
