My Bro Was Diagnosed With GBS.He Was On Ventilator Support For Around 2.5 Months..Now 7 Months Have Passed Still He Is On Bed...Recovery Is Going On But Quite Slow..2 Times He Was Given IVIG Dose.. We Dont Know How Much Time More He Will Take To Stand On His Legs And Do Things On His Own..Doctors Told Us GBS Patients Take Time To Recover But We Are Concerned How Much More Time... Are There Any Special Things Which We Can Give Him To Gain His Lost Power Quickly...Any Diet To Increase His Power.. How Can He Recover Faster Pls Help

Hello... Gullian barre syndrome is an autoimmune disease affecting the peripheral nervous system.its not related to diet or antibiotics... Completely damaged nerves takes months even years to recover. ..respiratory paralysis is the most commonly complication leads to death... In most of the cases damage is not completely reversible.
