Hello docs, My baby is 9months old, and yesterday I gave egg yolk half for the first time... and she ate nicely... but after 3 hrs she did potty which I thought is normal... and then again at 4 in the morning she did... Again in Morning around 9 she did potty and now after eating pears she did potty... What should I do ? Should I go to hospital or is she allergic to egg ? I should avoid egg ?

Regards! Generally it is advisable to avoid giving eggs in first year of life not just because of egg protein allergy but also the high osmolar gradient of the egg meal. Although if the child is active and playful but has just passed multiple stools for last 2 days, there is nothing to panic, body rescues any change in diet in a certain manner.

Visit a pediatrician only if motions are watery. This does not mean she is allergic to egg. Many children have this when egg is given first time especially below 1 year
