Gaut or something else
Hi i m 28 yrs ihad pain in my big fingure of leg. Dr doubt about gaut. He gige me 2 days medicine gautnil . Pain is gone but sweeling is still as it is. So its gout? Becz by uric acid is 4.8 and its normal. And my kidney function are also normal. Dr said me to wait for 15 days and contineu to take gautnil medicine one a day. I dont understand it is realy gaut or something else plz guide me

Just because there was swelling and pain we can not say it is gout or not. It could be gout or local injury or local infection. Even ill fitting shoe or misstep can cause it.  For correct diagnosis we need more details and hemogram test.

Hi Uric  acid  is  normal So  less likely . But  if  pain  not  subsided  then  take  painkiller  like  combiflam
