Gastric Problem
Doctor, I had Severe gastric problem in January 2021.I had suffered Severe gastric reflux, nausea,chest pain, upper left abdominal pain. I had done my abdominal ultrasound, which was normal. I had also done Liver function test where SGPT 60,SGOT 29,Alkaline phosphate 86,Albumin 4.4 and Globulin 4.5,Total bilirubin 0.6(Direct 0.2 and indirect 0.4) and CBC Test (WBC count 10900,Hemoglobin 13,RDW 15.9,Platelet 150000,ESR 28), Doctor had prescribed me pan D capsule in the morning before breakfast and Lupase 10000 tablet after launch. Since 4 months I have been taking these medicines now. How long I will take this medicines and what the next step should be taken?

You can stop Lipase 10000. Pan D also you can try taking on alternate days. Then gradually stop. Some lifestyle changes to be followed to prevent recurrent episodes of acid reflux.

Avoid fasting for too long. •Avoid eating anything in last 2 hours of your day before sleeping. •Do not lie down for atleast 1 hour after eating. •Drink plenty of water. •Walk for atleast 15 min after every meal. •Use pillows under the head/elevated head end of the bed while sleeping.
