Gap between various paediatric drops
Hi - my son is 6 months old. He is given vit d3 (400 IU) 1 ml daily and vitcofol 0.5 ml. 2 days back he has fever and is given dynaclor 187 (2 ml - thrice a day) and ondokind (2 ml - thrice a day). Today i have given vit d3 at 11 pm, vitcofol at 11:30 pm, ondokind at 12:20 am (each drops with 30 mins gap) and have to give dynaclor at 1 am. Is the gap followed okay? Or do we have to give more gap before each drops administration? If yes, then what gap? Can i give dynaclor drops with 30 mins gap now? Please help and clarify.

Dynaclor187 is antibiotic so while giving antibiotic stop all supplements till its course over.... You can give vitD and vitcofol together also...no problem

Hello ,your son at 6 months of age is getting Vit D & vitcofol , what was the reason ? Was he found to have deficiency ? If it is being given in calculated doses it’s fine but otherwise as a routine this is not needed . You can expose child’s bare body to sunlight to get Vit D .And if you introduce supplementary feeding with cereals iron will also be taken care of . As such during fever stop vitamins and tonics , give only those medicines which are necessary . But paracetamol for fever should be given only after feed .Depending upon salts of medicines more rules can apply .
