Gallstones
I got the contraceptive implant inserted 1 week ago. I have a history of gallstones 1 year ago confirmed by ultrasound. I had a gallstone attack on Tuesday and had severe pain, but have been still having intermittent mild pain, dark urine, pale stool and a slight jaundiced appearance. What treatment do you suggest?

Please consult a surgeon immediately and get yourself evaluated as the stones might have slipped from the gall bladder and entered the common bile duct leading to jaundice. Also get an urgent ultrasound of the abdomen and liver function test.
Next Steps
plz consult online for a detailed information on the problem or in case if you are staying in Pune consult in person with me

[ ] Hi if there is no upper abdominal pain / post meal fullness / discomfort / upper back pain , then you don't require surgery. This is asymptomatic gall stone. In case you develop any of above symptoms then you require surgery. There is no any medicines in present world to dissolve gall bladder stone. Laparoscopic approach is gold standard for gall bladder removal. You can read my article on Practo- Gall bladder stone.Feel free to ask any further quary.
Next Steps
You have obstructive jaundice. Consult a surgical gastroenterologist ASAP
