Gallstone at Lumen.
Hi Team - If anyone can assist with some quick advice. My spouse has done her USG and For gallbladder it is showing "There is evidence of Solitary calculas measuring 7.2MM X 12.18MM seen in gallbladder lumen". Thus, I can guess that she is having gallstones at Lumen of mentioned dimensions. She is asymptomatic, but digestion issues and constipation are intermittently there. In this case can someone please suggest if OT is necessary OR  if medication can control that size?

The size of the stone you have mentioned is more in favour of Surgical management irrespective of her symptoms status. Digestion issues implies an even more stronger favour towards Surgery.
Next Steps
Consult a nearest surgeon and get evaluated before her symptoms worsens ( it may stay dormant also )
Health Tips
She might get attacks of abdominal pain following oily food intake so better to avoid/use in moderation.

For gall stones, THE DEFINITIVE TREATMENT IS SURGERY. Medication provides only symptoms relief and no cure. Digestion issues are common due to gall stones. Laparoscopic surgery cures u of this disease and return to work happens within few days, so it is the gold standard. Don't wait for situation to worsen. Better to go for planned surgery.
